“FP7 PEOPLE Programme – Marie Curie Actions”

The objective of the event is to bring researchers from all fields and all career stages, research centres and agencies, enterprises, including SMEs, and the public sector, together with European Commission’s experts on the different Marie Curie actions who will provide information and ground for discussion and networking. Training, mobility, career development, public/private partnerships, staff exchanges, outreach. The FP7 People programme funds all kinds of opportunities for researchers with 100 % community funding!
 
Are you in the first five years of your research career? Public research seeks private partner – private research seeks public partner? Been in research for a while - Want to get some new skills and see some other sectors? Are you a top-class researcher from a country outside Europe? Are you a European researcher - Would you like to do a high level research outside Europe? Already on a Marie Curie action in Europe and wondering how you will fare afterwards on the employment market? Been researching outside Europe for at least three years and want to come home and find a job here?
 
This event is for you! In 2011, Marie Curie actions will have a total budget of €772 million, and are expected to create 7.000 new jobs.
 
The programme of the event includes a general introduction on the FP7 People programme followed by presentations on each of its specific actions and the main features addressed by the 2011 calls, as well as providing guidance on financial issues. The presentations will be followed by discussions on how to become a successful applicant and receive 100% of community funding!
 
Participation is free of charge and a lunch will be provided.
