Profile
Mr Antonis Constantinou is a clinical trainer of Physiotherapy at the European University of Cyprus, Nicosia, Cyprus. He teaches at a clinical basis, assessment and rehabilitation of Cardiorespiratory, Musculoskeletal and Neurological physiotherapy at the Nicosia General Hospital and the Archbishop Makarios III Hospital since October 2010. He also teaches Laboratory classes of Human Anatomy since October 2011. He is a member of the Pancyprian Association of Physiotherapists (P.A.P.) since 2009. He previously worked as a physiotherapist mainly for the rehabilitation of Musculoskeletal and Neurological disorders and Injuries. He is currently involved in research projects addressing physiotherapy in musculoskeletal disorders. He participated at the 13th State of the Art Interdisciplinary Review Course on Pulmonary Diseases, Critical Care, Emergency Medicine & Nursing Care, Thorax Foundation, Athens 2-4 April 2009 with a poster, Kortianou E., Tsagari A., Konstantinou A. et al. “Pulmonary Mechanics and exercise tolerance in young obese females: a control pilot study”.
