Profile

Mr Karayiannis is a clinical trainer of the Physiotherapy program. He is primarily teaching physiotherapy students how to assess and treat patients in the clinical setting, combining theory and practice. Mr Karayiannis joined the European University of Cyprus in 2010 when the module of clinical practice was conducted for the first time. Mr Karayiannis studied physiotherapy at the Technological Educational Institute of Athens and then he was continuing his studies at the Medical School of National and Kapodistrian University of Athens focusing in the management of Cardio-Respiratory patients. Mr Karayiannis is a member of Cyprus Association of Physiotherapists and also a member of the Scientific Committee of the Association. Mr Karayiannis areas of interest include: cardiac rehabilitation; pulmonary rehabilitation; evaluation of musculoskeletal dysfunctions and treatment of musculoskeletal dysfunctions.
