Prospective Students

The criteria for admission to European University Cyprus have been set to enable the Office of Admissions to select students who have the ability to do university-level work and to place students in courses and programs appropriate to the student's academic preparation, in an effort to help them successfully realize their academic potential. The admission process has been developed with two thoughts in mind. First, we wish to give you the opportunity to get to know European University Cyprus so that you can evaluate our academic programs and determine whether we are the right University in which to pursue your education. Second, it is our chance to get to know you and to determine if you are among the students who have the ability to help make European University Cyprus a dynamic place of learning.

Our Students come from many parts of the world and bring with them a wide range of academic disciplines, experiences, special interests, talents and cultural backgrounds. The Office of Admissions aims to form a student body, which will give the opportunity to each student to share education and grow in experience as a member of an international community. All applicants must have completed a secondary (high) education or twelve years of schooling or the equivalent, to be considered for admission to undergraduate study, or hold a Bachelor’s degree for post-graduate study.

European University Cyprus recognizes a strong academic performance at high school level as the primary determinant for undergraduate university level success. When making an admissions decision, the university is interested in applicatns with a solid high school record, evidence of extra-curricular involvement, a high level of commitment and potential for personal growth. Applications for admission to European University Cyprus, together with the applicant’s credentials, are examined and evaluated by the Office of Admissions, which makes the final decision for the application.

Any person who intends to register for a program at European University Cyprus must first be admitted to the University.
