European University Cyprus

European Union Citizens

European Union students will need to submit the following documents to the Office of Admissions, P.O.Box 22006, 1516 Nicosia, Cyprus at least one month prior to the beginning of the semester in order to be admitted to the university:

 

  • A completed application form together with a non-refundable fee of €52. You can apply online here
  • Official or certified Academic records (in English) Undergraduate students must submit a copy of their High School Leaving Diploma and grade marksheets in English attested by the awarding institution or the Ministry of Education or relevant Examining Board. Graduate students (Master program) must also submit a copy of their Bachelor’s Degree and grade marksheets in English attested by the awarding institution or the Ministry of Education. In addition, applicants must submit two letters of recommendation and proof of work experience. In order to be considered for admission, the average grade on the High School Leaving Certificate or Bachelor Degree must be ‘C’ and above or its equivalent.
  • Copy of a valid passport/identity card
  • One passport size photograph
  • After an applicant receives an acceptance letter from the university, then he/she must submit the down payment against tuition fees for the first semester of €1100. Final adjustment to fees will be done after a student registers at European University Cyprus. You can pay your fees online here.

 

Evidence of Knowledge of English

English is the language of instruction at European University Cyprus. Applicants whose native language in not English will take the university’s English Placement Test (EPT) upon arrival at the university. Applicants who have passed either the TOEFL examination with a minimum score of 550 (213 computer-based, 79 Internet-based), English IGCSE with grade ‘C’ or above, or IELTS with a score of 6.5 or above are exempt from the EPT. Other external exams are accepted by the English Department as equivalent. Please consult with the Office of Admissions for more details.

English is not a requirement for admission. Candidates, whose English proficiency is not up to the university’s standard, will take special English Language classes.

 

Master in Business Administration (MBA) Specific Admission Requirements

 

MBA (Full Time)

Applicants to the MBA program are required to hold a Bachelor's degree (or its equivalent) from a recognized institution. Alternatively, applicants may possess a professional qualification (or a combination of qualifications) officially recognized as being equivalent to a Bachelor's degree.

 

MBA Foundation Courses
MBA Foundation Courses maybe required from students who lack a business background i.e. non business degree holders, or students with less than 3 years of work experience at a managerial position.  Students must have completed the MBA Foundation Courses of their or equivalent at an accredited institution.  Evaluation of applicant’s academic record will be processed by the Admissions Office in cooperation with the MBA faculty, and any exceptions must be approved by the MBA Program Director.  A student may begin undertaking MBA core Courses upon completion of the pertinent foundation course.  Credits earned with MBA foundation Courses do not count towards the required coursework for the completion of the MBA program.

 

MBA (Part Time) AMBA ACCREDITED

Applicants to the MBA program are required to hold a Bachelor's degree (or its equivalent) from a recognized institution. Alternatively, applicants may possess a professional qualification (or a combination of qualifications) officially recognized as being equivalent to a Bachelor's degree. Eligible applicants for the MBA Program (part time) are those with three or more years of post graduation work experience.
