Title: Product and Services Management

The purpose of this course is to enable students to identify and apply the knowledge, skills, and attitudes required to perform in a marketing product management position in an organization. The participants will learn how to search for new product ideas and their evaluation. Some of the topics addressed in the course will include the organization structure necessary to the development and introduction of new products and the management of a product line, the commercial aspects of product design, packaging, labelling and branding, the considerations involved in making product deletion decisions and the social and economic effects of managing product innovation.
