Badge of Professional Competency
Professor Dr. Theodoros Xanthos of the School of Medicine at European University Cyprus, has lately achieved the status of Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. HEA Fellowship is an internationally recognized badge of professional competency for those who teach and support learning in higher education.
In addition Professor Xanthos has also achieved Fellowships in other academies and councils: Fellow of the Academy of Medical Educators, Fellow of the American College of Clinical Pharmacology and Fellow of the European Resuscitation Council.
Prof Dr. Theodoros Xanthos is the author of the American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines on hypothermia, http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/26434495 and the senior author of the European Guidelines of end-of-life decisions http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/26477419
In addition Dr Xanthos has been recently included in the publication of the 2000 Outstanding Intellectuals of the 21st Century by the International Biographical Center of Cambridge.
Dr Theodoros Xanthos, MD, Pg Dip (Ed), MSc, PhD, FHEA, FAcadMEd FERC, FCP, is a Professor of Medicine at the School of Medicine of European University Cyprus.
