| 9:00 – 10:15 am | The forensic autopsy | The forensic autopsy is an integral part of medical practice. Its value today as a tool in the investigation of disease and unnatural deaths and some of the new developments in the use of imaging to assist autopsy practice will be described. |

| 10:30 – 11:45 am | Interpretation of injuries | It is essential that doctors understand the causes and variety of the different types on injuries and their morbidity and mortality. Different categories of injuries will be described and their manner of causation. |

| 2:00 – 3:15 pm | Air disasters | Healthcare professionals from time to time may be called upon to assist in dealing with injured and deceased in multiple fatalities. I will describe aircraft accidents as an example of a type of mass disaster emergency and what can be learnt from the different aspects of the investigation. |

| 3:30 – 4:45 pm | Neck trauma | The neck is the conduit between the head and the rest of the body. It thus the supply chain of our vital organs. Injuries to this region may be misinterpreted and it is important for doctors to have a good understanding of the types of trauma which may be present. |
