European University Cyprus receives ISO Certification of Simultaneous Interpretation Facilities
In October, 2022, European University Cyprus received certification that its simultaneous interpretation facilities in the university’s main auditorium, the Cultural Center, are in conformity with the requirements of ISO 2603:2016 issued by TUV Nord Cyprus. This certification confirms that the university has established and implements the requirements and recommendations for creating and operating permanent booths for simultaneous interpretation in the Cultural Center. It also ensures the usage and access of booths for all interpreters, including those with special needs.
Furthering European University Cyprus’ efforts to continuously improve its academic facilities and workplace environment, it is now the only organization in Cyprus that holds this affirmation by TUV Nord Cyprus, a requirement for hosting recognized and large-scale international conferences.
