Aviation Management (4 χρόνια, Πτυχίο)

The Bachelor of Science degree in Aviation Management is a unique program that is available for the first time in Cyprus and it has been developed in association with strategic partners from the aviation industry such as airlines, airport and transport services and aviation training organizations.

At European University Cyprus, we offer two tracks for students majoring in Aviation Management. If you see yourself on the management side of aviation, such as running an airport or overseeing airport or airline operations, then the Aviation Management Degree with a specialization in Commercial Operations is the right option for you. If you choose the specialization in Air Operations, you will undertake flight training to qualify as a commercial pilot in tandem with the degree coursework. Those with pilot qualifications will gain a much demanded bachelor’s degree to ensure their career prospects in the aviation industry.

Commercial Operations

A degree in Aviation Management specializing in Commercial Operations provides individuals with the education necessary to oversee various departments of airlines and airports. Aviation managers work at airlines, airports or other businesses within the aviation industry. In thisprofession, you might oversee the day-to-day operations of an airport or aviation organization or supervise an airline department. Students who follow this specialization also have the option to receive training for a Private Pilot License (PPL) if they desire.

Air Operations (Professional Pilot)

The BSc degree in Aviation Management with Professional Pilot License offers you the opportunity to study a highly focused aviation management degree whilst undertaking your Professional Pilot training to gain a ‘frozen’ Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL).

Designed to incorporate the study of a degree in aviation management with professional pilot training, our degree program aims to prepare you for new demands in air operations. As the need for commercial airline pilots increases, this degree will equip you with both the practical and theoretical skills so highly sought after by the global airline community.

The BSc in Aviation Management with Professional Pilot License has been designed with the input from a range of industry professionals and takes account of the dynamic changes the industry faces. The specialization includes all theoretical (ATPL Ground School) and practical training (Commercial Pilot License), that leads to an EASA frozen Air Transport Pilot License (ATPL). All pilot training is provided by an Approved Training Organization (ATO. An ATPL is the highest license you can obtain as a pilot and is the qualification that allows the holder to act as the Pilot in Command (PIC), or Captain, of a commercial aircraft.
