Title: Visual Communication

Code: GRA331

The aim of this course is to enable students to gain experience in visual problem solving through advanced design projects, in which they will be asked to communicate creative concepts through the effective use of type and imagery. Students will explore and deconstruct professional work to develop understanding of how visual language works. In this course, students will also be exposed to a survey of environmental graphic design to include way-finding systems, signage, identity graphics, pictogram design, mapping and themed environments.
Restrictions :
Students are expected to have a comprehensive knowledge of the following software: Adobe Photoshop & Adobe Illustrator.
