Laurent Fabius appointed Honorary Doctor at European University Cyprus School of Law

A symbolic personality of French political life and Europe’s legal world will be honored by European University Cyprus. The President of the French Constitutional Council, Laurent Fabius, will be named Honorary Doctor of the University School of Law. The Awarding Ceremony will take place on 19 April at 11:00 at European University Cyprus Cultural Centre. Representatives of the executive, legislative and judiciary, as well as representatives of the diplomatic world will be present.

Mr Fabius is a very important personality of French public life. He has served as Prime Minister, twice as President of the House of Parliament, as well as Minister of Foreign Affairs.

The Rector of European University Cyprus, Professor Kostas Gouliamos, will appoint the title of Honorary Doctor to Mr. Fabius, while the Dean, Dr. Konstantinos Tsimaras will read out the resolution of the School o Law. The President of the Constitutional Council and former Prime Minister of France, Mr Fabius, will address a speech on "Protecting the Environment: Our Responsibilities to the Present and Future Generations".
