Language Disorders in Greek

We are pleased to announce the 3rd conference on: Language Disorders in Greek

Taking into consideration ongoing research on impaired language and its implications for what we know about language and the brain, as well as research on Modern Greek and its varieties, and Cypriot Greek in particular, the aim of LDG 3 is to bring together current research on varieties of Modern Greek as a result of language disorder(s). Both theoretical and experimental research is welcome on any topic of phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics, or pragmatics.
Special emphasis is given on comparative work, either between Standard Modern Greek, Cypriot Greek and some other language(s), or on bilingualism/multilingualism where one of the languages is a Modern Greek variety.

This year’s conference will give priority to Language Disorders and Bilingualism
(although work on other disorders will also be considered).

We are accepting abstracts for oral or poster presentations. Oral presentations will be 30 minutes with an additional 10-minute question period. Abstracts should be one page long with at least a one-inch margin on all sides and must employ a font no smaller than 12 point. Α second page may contain graphs, data or references. Abstracts should be sent electronically, as PDF files, to: [email protected]
