Undergraduate Students
The general admission requirement for all undergraduate programs is the successful completion of secondary education. Cypriot and European Union students must submit the documents listed below, in electronic form to admit@euc.ac.cy, or in person to the Office of Admissions, 6 Diogenous Street, 2404, Engomi, Nicosia or by post P.O. Box 22006, 1516 Nicosia, at least two weeks prior to the beginning of their first semester.
- Completed application form, together with a non-refundable fee of €52. Apply online here
- Official copy of High School Leaving Certificate and marksheet, in English
- Copy of a valid passport/identity card
- One passport-size photograph
- Proof of proficiency in English (if any)*
Once an applicant receives an acceptance letter from the University, he/she must submit a down payment towards first semester tuition fees, of €1100. For online payment, click here.
*Proficiency in English is not a requirement for admission to European University Cyprus. However, applicants whose native language in not English may be required to take the University’s English Placement Test (EPT). Candidates whose English is below the required standard will be offered additional English-language classes.
Exemption from English Placement Test (EPT)
Applicants are exempt from the English Placement Test (EPT) if they have one of the following:
TOEFL score of at least 550 (213 computer-based, 79 internet-based), or
English IGCSE with grade C or above, or
IELTS with a score of 6.5 or above
Other external exams may also be accepted by the English Department as equivalent. Consult the Office of Admissions for further details.
Payment of fees
Upon receipt of an acceptance letter from the university, students are required to submit a down payment of €1,100. To pay online, click here.
