The School of Medicine is the latest top addition to the European University Cyprus.
The solid pillars, on which the School of Medicine is built, are : (i) its teaching and training staff, (ii) its legacy, expertise and academic technical knowhow with which the School has been endowed with as a member of the “Laureate International Network of Universities” system and (iii) its high tech facilities coupled to a mixt of highly efficacious contemporary teaching and training methods. The following is a special outline dedicated to the facilities and equipment which are being employed for in-campus clinical teaching and training the School’s medical students. For its facilities, the School has been awarded two prestigious international prizes for “Best Educational Installations” and for “Best Medical Solutions” by the Crestron International Awards, this year.
All the School of Medicine facilities are grouped into four distinct complexes: (i) Lecture halls and Conference Rooms, (ii) Preclinical Basic Science Laboratories, (iii) Preclinical Medical Laboratories and (iv) Clinical Workshops and Wards. The structure and function of those facilities are described below and are the subject of the present subsection of the bulletin.
